Our Summer show-in-a-week 2023 takes place from Monday 24th July to Sunday 30th July. This is a spectacular experience for any student who loves theatre and performing. Students spend the week, learning a full hour long musical before putting on 2 shows with costumes, sets, lighting and sound all set on a beautiful and professional stage – rehearsals during the week take place at our permanent premises at CMG Arts, Ware, Hertfordshire and the performances and dress rehearsals take place at Heath Mount School, SG143NG. Students will come away from this week, not only having had an incredible performance experience but also having made unforgettable memories and new friends. This week is open to all students, including those who don’t currently attend CPA and we do not require an audition to sign up. Junior Group (Morning Only)

Reception to year 2 (age 4 to 7) for academic year 2022 to 2023.

Our Junior Group (morning only) is made up of students who will have just completed school years reception to year 2 at the time of the production in August 2023. Students in this group will attend from 9.15am to 12pm each day, Monday to Friday at CMG Arts and then attend dress rehearsals on Saturday from 10am to 2pm at Heath Mount School and they will then get to perform their show twice on Sunday 30th July 2023.

The cost of the week for this group is £105.00 and requires a £25.00 non-refundable deposit upon booking via your parent portal HERE. The remaining balance of £80 is due by no later than 1st July 2023 via bank transfer.

You can choose to add early drop off including continental breakfast options for an additional charge, from 8.30am and late collection up to 4.15pm from Monday to Friday too.

Junior Group (All Day)

School Years 1 & 2 (age 5 to 7) for academic year 2022 to 2023.

Our Junior Group (all day) is made up of students who are in school years 1 & 2 at the time of the production. Students in this group will attend from 9.15am to 3.15pm each day, Monday to Friday at CMG Arts and then attend dress rehearsals on Saturday from 10am to 2pm at Heath Mount School. They will then get to perform their show twice on Sunday 30th July at Heath Mount. This group will enjoy learning their dances and songs for the production in the morning and then take part in activities such as crafts, games and special workshops in the afternoon, ensuring they have a wonderful experience!

The cost of the week for this group is £190.00 and requires a £35.00 non-refundable deposit upon booking – please book and pay your deposit via your parent portal HERE. The remaining £155.00 balance is due by no later than 1st July 2023 via bank transfer.

Middles Group

School Years 3 to 6 (age 7 to 11) for academic year 2022 to 2023.

Our Middles Group is made up of students who will have just completed school years 3 to 6 at the time of the production in August 2023. Students in this group will attend 9.15am to 4.15pm each day, Monday to Friday at CMG Arts. This will be followed by dress rehearsals on Saturday from 10am to 5pm at Heath Mount school. They will then get to perform their show twice on Sunday at Heath Mount School.

The cost of the week for this group is £240.00 and requires a £40.00 non-refundable deposit upon booking – please book and pay your deposit via your parent portal HERE. The remaining £200.00 balance is due by no later than 1st July 2023 via bank transfer.

Senior Group

School Years 7 to 13 (age 11 to 18) for academic year 2022 to 2023.

Our Senior Group is made up of students who will have just completed school years 7 to 13 at the time of the production in August 2023. Students in this group will attend from 9.15am to 4.15pm each day, Monday to Friday at CMG Arts. This will be followed by dress rehearsals on Saturday 15th April from 10am to 5pm at Heath Mount school. They will then get to perform their show twice on Sunday at Heath Mount School.

The cost of the week for this group is £240.00 and requires a £40.00 non-refundable deposit upon booking – please book and pay your deposit via your parent portal HERE. The remaining £200.00 balance is due by no later than 1st July 2023 via bank transfer.

Show Tickets:

Tickets for the show – these will go on sale 1st July 2023 and will cost £11.00 each for adult tickets and £8.00 for concession tickets including those under 16. Children aged under 3 do not require a ticket if they are sitting on laps.
